Is it obvious we love Foxwoods? Okay, well IF by some chance you weren’t able to tell… we are obsessed. This time we were happy that we were able to stay for two nights to really get a full experience. It’s amazing how many times we’ve visited, and yet every time is completely different.
This time around we tried out their restaurant Alta Strada, which was conveniently right next to our hotel in the Fox Tower. We indulged in some delicious apps and entrees, and several divine martinis. After some successful gambling (aka the Titanic slot machine), we danced the night away at Shrine with the lovely ladies of Effen vodka.
We were also thrilled to be invited to their brand new restaurant The Sugar Factory. Feast your eyes on the photos above. Those cocktails… holy moly. Not to mention their food was incredibly tasty.
The next morning we had a luxurious brunch at their restaurant perched on the 24th floor, aptly named Vue 24 (pronounced view.) This is the place to be for a high-end chef-prepared meal. White table cloths, breathtaking views, and unbelievable bites. So glad we met the chef, and he convinced us to try so many of his inventive dishes.
After stuffing our faces, we sauntered over to the Tanger Outlets for a shopping spree. We hit the style jackpot at H&M, Forever 21, and Express. We love having this new feature at Foxwoods, not to mention the new tattoo parlor we saw on our way in… will definitely be hitting that up next time.
Lastly, how could we miss Liquid Sundays. A pool party that will have you feeling like you flew to Vegas for the afternoon. The pool is packed, the music is bumpin, and the vibes are on point. All in all, it was an epic weekend getaway. Can’t wait for the next time, Foxwoods!
