Abigail and I both live in Williamsburg, but we jumped at the opportunity to have a little staycation and explore an area of Brooklyn we don’t get to see regularly. Hotel Indigo was the perfect host. Mimosas right when we walked in, a fun tour of their location (hello roof deck) and a giant bed for us to jump into! We used this opportunity to check out Century 21 which is right down the street! Picked up some winter goodies, which I’m sure you’ll be seeing on the blog soon… I can feel a drop in temperature coming. Dare I say it? ………. “Winter is coming.”
We have been traveling A LOT, so we didn’t want this to feel like we were on the go. We packed our super comfortable silky Victoria’s Secret bathrobes and the ultimate spa kit. Mud mask by SheaMoisture, Anti-aging sheet mask by Hada Labo, worked some hair magic (repair) with davroe and did some mani/pedis with OPI!
After a great night sleep we woke up and headed to Jane’s carousel a short über ride away. We kind of have a thing for carousels. Maybe it’s nostalgia? We’ve rode two different ones this past week and rode each about 4 times. Is that considered an obsession or do we still have time?
I digress. We had an absolutely wonderful time at Hotel Indigo. Anyone visiting New York for the holidays we highly suggest their Brooklyn location. It’s a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of the city, which you can easily get a short train ride away. There is just something about going home to something a little quieter.
