Best idea we’ve ever had: spending Memorial Day at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa in Plymouth, MA. After an amazing weekend in Newport, RI, we travelled North to our home state of Massachusetts. I’ve heard so much about this gem in the woods called Mirbeau that looks so out of place you’d think you were in the French countryside. Don’t you love that moment when you turn the corner and see something so unusual and breathtaking?! I literally gasped. What a stunning entrance and facade. We immediately toured the property’s beautiful bar and restaurant, the lounge, the spa, and the garden oasis.
We entered our room with classical music lightly bouncing around the space. A lovely fireplace was already roaring, and when I saw the beautiful beds I thought maybe I’ll never leave this room. I think I need to start playing classical music in my room. It may not go with the decor, but it makes you feel some kind of way! I also spotted that clawfoot bathtub from a mile away. Sadly we got a gloomy day, but imagine sitting out in those chairs by the pond after a divine brunch outdoors at The Bistro.
We also have to mention how much we enjoyed their bath products, available for purchase in the spa. Everything they make is 100% natural, which is so rare. Not to mention they smell incredible. Hello, sandalwood, lime, ginger, and green tea.
We hear there’s also a Mirbeau Inn upstate New York… road trip?!
