Abigail and I have always drawn inspiration from Shakespeare and his many incredible plays. When Chris LaPointe approached us to create a piece together with a sort of wide open trajectory we jumped at the opportunity. We wanted to try putting a modern twist on one of our favorite plays, Romeo and Juliet.
In this depiction, Emily is Juliet and Abigail is Romeo. Instead of petticoats and trousers, the cuts are a bit more risqué and the leather accents are just a bit more modern. We love how it turned out! What do you think?
