Folklore has it that the witching hour takes place at midnight, but on Halloween day in Manhattan, two witches took Central Park by surprise, and cast their spell before dark. Though cloaked in black, and an eerie sight, the witches' spell didn't intend to fright. They simply chanted, "When darkness falls, second-guess your dress, for if you don't partake in the holiday spirit, our haunting will induce great stress."
