So, firstly we have to apologize for the lack of posting this past week. Emily and I are officially Brooklyn girls! We made the move across the river. In what seemed to be an homage to our old neighborhood, we had an amazing staycation at the brand new Hotel Indigo in the Lower East Side.
It couldn't have come at a better time! We've been exhausted from moving apartments, and a hotel bed was calling our names. Yes, one bed. Yes, we share everything always. The hotel just opened up last week, and we were amazed by the beautiful 14th floor lobby - a genius idea! The views were breathtaking. The space is very industrial, with minimalistic furniture and unique artistic decor.
If you're dying to check it out, our suggestion is to make a reservation at their stunning restaurant/bar Mr. Purple (on the 15th floor.) I recommend the cheeseburger! They even have an oversized balcony with a pool. Swanky meets downtown cool - we'll definitely frequent this hotel. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, Indigo! Oh, and for all the epic goodies from Economy Candy.
