This week we were invited to blog for Fame Show in NYC, a young contemporary fashion trade show. Emily and I have been to a few trade shows before, strolling around browsing booths, but this one was so much more fun! In the brand new architecturally stunning Javits Center, Fame takes place with a few other shows. The booths were modern, the decor was on point, and there was even a dope DJ hyping us up. We played dress up with brands like Lush Clothing and Skies are Blue. There’s a strong bohemian influence for Spring/Summer, but we were still able to find some darker pieces. Particularly lusting over those military inspired ankle boots from Matisse Footwear. Thank you to UBM Fashion and Fohr Card for the invitation. We’re ready for the next one!

Jacket, Kut from the Kloth. Blouse, Theory of Gaia. Denim, Articles of Society. Boots, H Williams.

Embracing Fall fashion with this emerald green suede jacket by Kut from the Kloth. I generally wear too many tee shirts, so I dressed this look up with a bow blouse.  This jacket would pair perfectly with so many different outfits as well. I’m thinking a long black dress, a skirt and crop top, or a bohemian printed jumpsuit. Check out my suggested styling options below!

Today we had a great early morning in the meatpacking district that involved brunch and an astronaut… stay tuned in the next couple weeks for details. Follow my snaps for a behind the scenes look at my day to day – @wanderlustgirls.

KYBOE! New York Fashion Week

We knew the KYBOE! watch runway would be a blast because of our recent trip to Miami for Swim Week. The show was packed, the music was bumping, and out came gorgeous girls and sexy men sporting a single colored look with a watch to match. The outfits were minimal and adorable, but all eyes were on the wrists. It seems that KYBOE!’s mission to make watches less boring, which was definitely accomplished at this runway! Also, men without shirts… never fails.
