A bit about the collaboration- It began via Instagram, quite the modern day friendship! After months of following and supporting each others work, Nicole, designer of Amato Style, asked us if we'd be interested in creating a collection with her. Needless to say, we were ecstatic. This is something we had dreamed of for a very long time!
Due to distance and covid we began creating via Zoom calls filled with discussions of inspiration, getting super close to the camera as if it would help us see her intricate wax molds better and maybe a cocktail or two! We were big advocates for virtual happy hour during the covid months... and post covid months.
The concept behind the collection is the need to wear daily armor. As female business owners we all felt that. But, I think it's a feeling most everyone can relate to on a regular basis. It was important for the pieces to have that strength and edge you'd feel from wearing literal armor, but with a chic and sexy smoothness.
We worked with some incredible talent for the photoshoot here in Nashville. Emery Gore our beautiful model, Victor Oquendo our photographer, and Risa Rodriguez on hair and make up. We got some beautiful shots, check them out!
