Marigold Shadows: The Goth Girls Zara

Don't get me wrong, we enjoy perusing Zara... in late Fall and Winter. But, let's be real the other months and sometimes even those fun darker months are, well, just way too colorful. If we see another "butter" cardigan or pink skirt we may die. Okay, that's the goth in us being a bit dramatic, but it is just the worst. Why won't it come in black even in the Summer??

Enter, Marigold Shadows! They have been our year round solid go-to for all our black, gray and white attire. We love the artsy shapes and silhouettes, the dark esthetic and the price point. Every time we wear Marigold Shadows out, we get stopped and you know we love a little attention... okay, a lot of attention. The stand out styles are sure to draw eyes, not break the bank and keep your goth girl look going all year round.

If you're looking to pair your edgy aesthetic with some cool jewelry, we recommend chain necklaces! They have all the shine of nice jewelry, but the thick chain links add funk and boldness to the look. We love a layered chain necklace as well, as pictured above with the black hooded top. Silver or gunmetal is our go-to, but gold is always a nice choice, especially if you want to make the outfit look more expensive.

A sunglasses brand we adore (two pairs featured in the photos above) is Saint Owen. They're known for their "rebellious classics."

To finish off the dark vibes, we always stick to a black ankle boot or thigh-high. Our favorites are pointed-toe block heels, or a classic combat boot style. Emily just found these affordable boots on Amazon, and she says they're so comfortable for everyday wear! The heel height is so important to us, because we aren't kitten heel girls, but certainly don't need 5 inch heels for day-to-day wear.
