Thank you so much Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for having us last night to the opening of Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton.
This was truly one of the most enchanting nights of our lives. Abigail and I are HUGE Tim Burton fans. It's kind of our thing, if you can't tell. The orchestra and choir played pieces from so many of our favorites, accompanied by Burton's drawings and clips from the films.
The best part? Danny Elfman's guest appearance singing as Jack Skellington from the pieces in The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was surreal seeing the voice behind the character come to life. I'm still in awe and we have yet to cease singing. "WHAT. IS. THIS?!" I can't stress enough. If you have the opportunity to see this... see it!
