This weekend we had tickets to Sleeping Beauty by the New York City Ballet, so we decided to book a staycation through Reservations.com. Taking the subway from Brooklyn to Lincoln Center in gowns isn't nearly as fun as walking from a nearby hotel.
We went to Reservations.com, selected our preferred neighborhood and price, and booked instantly. We soaked in the sunny afternoon near Central Park and checked out the Curtain Up exhibit at the New York Public Library of Performing Arts. After dressing up in the room and listening to some tunes on Spotify, we walked to the Rosa Mexicano for some margaritas and guacamole with our friend Tineey of Tineey.com. We laughed a little once we got to Sleeping Beauty and realized we dress more like the antagonist than he protagonist.
