I'm sure you've seen us cruising around Brooklyn on our new Schwinn bikes if you follow us on our Insta stories. We could not be more obsessed with them! Abigail choose the Schwinn Legacy Cruiser in yellow and I got the Schwinn Radiant Hybrid in blue. I'm so excited to get a basket for the back of my bike and to put some tassels on my handle bars.
On our first trip (pictured above) we headed to McCarren park in Williamsburg (not pictured: giant breakfast sandwiches from our favorite, Bagel Smith. If you haven't been they are amazing. We consider Bagel Smith our saving grace especially after a night of drinking.) We even got real cheesy, as usual, and wore matchy polka dot ensembles. Abigail's look is from the new Cynthia Rowley x Macy's collection. Mine is from Zara. I love that it looks like a dress, but is actually a romper. That way I don't flash as many people while I'm speeding around on my bike! Sorry fellas, these buns are staying covered, barely, but still covered.
Our next (bigger) excursion with these babies will be out to North Fork, Long Island to the vineyards. I've gone once before and it was such a fun experience. It's a quick train ride (aka our designated driver) to North Fork where you begin the journey. There are a few vineyards close to each other in that area. They're beautiful to bike around and there are plenty of spots for picnics. I followed this site last time as a guide. Although, it was on a way less cool bike.
So, I can't wait to experience it on my new Schwinn! Does anyone have any other fun trips they've done on their bikes that they suggest? We'd love to hear your thoughts and get our wheels turnin!
