The Bellwether is the Perfect Weekend Escape from Nashville

We are always looking for a little escape from Nashville and never realized Louisville, Kentucky is only 2.5 hours away! We packed a bag and hopped in the car for a quick jaunt. We decided to stay at The Bellwether Hotel located in a quaint walking neighborhood filled with restaurants and shops just outside of the main downtown area.

We absolutely loved the decor... that wallpaper (cue the drool.) The beds were 10/10 and believe me we are very picky about beds. They were the perfect place to watch Friends for hours after a day of exploring. Truly, how had we never been to Louisville before?!

Something else we really loved about The Bellwether was there is no lengthy check in and check out. It is all done via phone and you can enter and exit using a key code. So convenient!

Not to be missed the chic French restaurant located at The Bellwether that is inside an old police station. Yes, you heard us right. Definitely make a reservation on your next Louisville visit. We hit up the happy hour and sipped on a delicious rosé on their patio taking in all the Fall foliage. Is there anything better? We don't think so.
