Viceroy Zihuatanejo

We're finally back in New York, and we couldn't be more depressed. We had a visit to paradise, aka the Viceroy Hotel in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, and we're already plotting a reason to go back within the year. Thank you to the team at Visit IZ for introducing us to the Viceroy Hotel.

We were a bit groggy from flying upon arrival, however the first few steps into the Viceroy lit up our eyes. Serenity exists. This property is a tranquil oasis with surprises around every corner -- an art gallery, a boutique, a spa, a tennis court, a beachfront restaurant, and the list goes on. We were so excited to be led into a beach suite, where you could almost be happy spending all of your time inside (but don't worry, we didn't.) The balcony was breathtaking with views of the beach and our own private lounge pool. The bed was almost too perfect to get into. The sky-high ceilings made this room even larger.

After settling, we immediately went for a stroll on the beach. We ended up relaxing in the hammock, and taking in the views with our toes in the water. Couldn't have found a better home away from home. Shout out to the breakfast chefs and waiters -- I can easily say that's the most amazing breakfast I've ever had (the eggs benedict was beyond words.)

Thank you to all of the staff for the hospitality, and especially Martin for a delicious dinner to end our stay. We hope to be back SOON!

xx, WanderLust Girls
